A bold, minimal identity for a Vancouver-based automotive shop.
LHD Auto is an automotive shop based in Vancouver, B.C., focused on performance, service, and precision. The goal was to create a brand that feels instantly recognizable and translates seamlessly across real-world applications—especially as a vehicle decal. The identity needed to be simple, durable, and impactful at any scale.
This project centered on creating a mark that works as hard as the vehicles it represents. The logo is intentionally simple and high-contrast, ensuring strong visibility whether applied as a small sticker or across an entire car. The custom icon introduces a distinctive visual hook—something recognizable at a glance without overcomplicating the design. The typography leans bold and slightly aggressive, reflecting performance and movement, while maintaining clarity and legibility in fast-moving contexts. Every decision was made with real-world application in mind: clean reproduction, easy scaling, and maximum impact with minimal elements. The result is a brand that feels confident, functional, and built for the street.
